Dining room lights have two functions, first as a light in the dining room and the second to the feeling of a personal tone of the homeowner to give. The current trend is candle style chandeliers.
Candle style colors may differ from designers. Options include resin candle shades that look of dripping wax to have. Onyx candle style shades are unique by the beauty of natural stone mixed with wrought iron. There is also a line of shadows of real wax. These colors have the look and feel of real wax, but are specially formulated to low voltage lamps to accept for the convenience of electricity using a light switch.

A more simple wrought-iron piece would go well with the modern style, while a large multi-tiered chandelier would be considered a more traditional look.
