Let’s make gold ornaments to enliven the holiday

These are simple instructions for making beautiful gold ornaments from inexpensive materials.

Tools:
• paintbrush
• container
• pins

Materials:
• gold leaf
• gold leaf adhesive
• acrylic craft paints
• papier-mache craft ornament

Steps:

1. Use gold leaf to cover the ornament. Seal the papier-mache craft ornament by painting it. Crumble few pieces of the gold leaf (“skewing”) in a box. Set the sticky papier-mache ornament into the box to take up the skewing. Distribute the skewing on the ornament by using a paintbrush.

2. Display the ornament. Make a loop from ribbon and fasten to the top of the ornament. Finally, display the ornament on the Christmas or Holiday tree.
