Tips to clear the living room from jumbled kids toys

Kids toys in living room

Kids can bring pleasure and joy, but they often make clutter in the living room with their widespread toys like stuffed animals, doll houses and toy trucks.

It’s very difficult to house those toys since their number is always increasing. This makes the living room become out of style. So what we can do to reduce clutter in the living room, while at the same time still allowing kids to play?

1. Give kids larger bedroom. Make sure the bedroom is large enough to be a playroom. With larger bedroom, kids will have their own special area to play with their toys. This will significantly reduce clutter in the living room.

2. Purchase interesting toy chest. Kids don’t want to set right their jumble of toys when playtime is over, the reason is simply that they find no interesting housing for their toys. So just purchase unique toy chest, perhaps in Chinese, Japanese or Indian design. Put the storage box in the room where kids usually play.

3. Organize toy swaps. Control the kids’ number of toys by making toy swaps with other parents. By doing this, kids will have opportunity periodically to try out different and new toys, without necessity to purchase the new ones.
